VACOcast, VACOped, VACOpedes Diabetic
The VACO12 technology is the core technology of the VACO product.
A pillow filled with thousands of styrofoam beads surrounds the injured body parts. All of these plaster shoes can be combined with the VADOplex circulation pump for simultaneous relief and increased circulation in, for example, diabetic ulcers on the feet.

The VACO12 technology is the core technology of the VACO product. A pillow filled with thousands of styrofoam beads surrounds the injured body parts. Due to the perfect round shape of the beads, they can absorb 12 times the pressure each. When air is extracted from the pillow using a pump, the body-shaped pillow hardens (like a cast does), in just a few seconds. By opening the valve and letting air flow into the cushion, it becomes soft again and can be adjusted to the body part. Therefore, the vacuum technology avoids pressure on the site and ensures continuous stability thanks to a perfectly shaped orthosis.
